Coach Kristi Scott began her cheer and dance career at age 3, cheering in her local community cheer league and taking dance classes at a local studio. Kristi continued cheering and dancing throughout high school and then accepted college scholarships for both cheer and dance.
Kristi began her coaching career when she established a high school cheer program for a local school community, with her team cheering for both football, basketball, and traveling for competition cheer.
Her heart to teach, inspire a passion for health & fitness in others, and her love for working with students while helping them grow in their skill, confidence, and ability, led her to create TRAIN2CHEER!
Year after year, Kristi had numerous young ladies approach her asking what they can work on at home to prepare them for tryouts; these young ladies often had limited funds, lived too far away from any cheer gyms, or simply couldn't learn enough at the local cheer clinic or gym classes to really help them rise above their competition. Kristi wanted to fill the need for these ladies by creating a solid, thorough, building-block style program, that can be done from home at any time of day. She wanted to give these young ladies the same quality instruction that she gives to her own cheerleaders that are brand new. TRAIN2CHEER was designed with those young ladies at the heart of it.
Aside from being the founder and director of her own cheer program, Coach Kristi is also a registered nurse, wife, mother, and fitness professional.
